Waterfront in Orange and Brown, December 1976
This imaginary scene was painted by the Glessners’ grandson, John Glessner Lee (1898-1987). He actively pursued art after his retirement as an aeronautical engineer, working in several mediums including acrylic and pen and ink.
The piece measures 16” by 24” and is painted in acrylics on watercolor paper, which is then mounted to a cloth board and Masonite.
