Full House Group Tours

Docent-led 75-minute group tours are available with at least two weeks advance reservation. Our certified docents will tailor your tour to suit a particular area of interest, making for a truly customized experience. Larger groups will be split into two or three smaller groups (which will start simultaneously in different parts of the building) to provide the best experience for all guests.

Group tours are usually available seven days week except during times when regular public tours are being given (Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 11:30am, 1:00pm, and 2:30pm) and on our closed days.

Glessner House is not ADA accessible and requires the use of stairs.

Children under the age of 5 are not permitted on tours at this time.

Small Group Behind-the-Scenes Tour

Host a group for an intimate, two-hour behind-the-scenes tour of Glessner House. This private tour includes stories and information not included on regular tours and exploring areas of H. H. Richardson’s “urban masterpiece” that are not shown to the general public. Get an up close and personal look at your favorite objects in our collection, experience the rooms from a different perspective, and view collections rarely seen by museum visitors.

Two hours. Available by appointment only. Minimum fourteen days advance notice requested.

$50 per person for groups of up to eight people. Minimum charge of $200 for groups less than 4.
