Silk cover from the guestbook acquired for the wedding of Frances Glessner and Blewett Lee on February 9, 1898, held in the home of her parents at 1800 S. Prairie Avenue. The book contains signatures of those who attended the wedding, as well as those who attended Frances Lee’s first post-nuptial reception on April 12, also held at the home of her parents. At the back of the book are ten pages containing swatches of fabric from her wedding dress and trousseau.

Frances Glessner used the same silk fabric to make a work bag to hold her needlework supplies; that bag is on display in her bedroom.
